The enemy army delivered two missile strikes on Korosten in the Zhytomyr region tonight. According to Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Regional Military Administration, explosions were heard in the city at 2.00 a.m. and at 4:00 a.m.
"Air defense went off at 2.00 a.m., and a shot shell fell on one of the residential districts, there was no significant damage. At 4:00 a.m — the railway infrastructure was hit," he said during the joint telethon broadcast.
According to him, not a single person was injured as a result of the shelling.
Context. On May 22, Russia delivered its second missile attack in a week on the town of Malyn, Zhytomyr region. One person died, some houses were damaged.
