Dynamo Kyiv will be the first in the world to transfer ticket sales to NFT

FC Dynamo (Kyiv) will be the first of the major sports clubs to launch regular sales of non-fungible tokens (NFT) as match tickets.

Fans will be able to purchase NFTs on the Binance marketplace with the support of the Moonwalk blockchain project at the end of June 2021, according to the football club’s report.

"Already next year, dozens of professional clubs from all over the world, competing in various sports, will use NFT as tickets and collectible assets. But the fact that it was FC Dynamo Kyivt that was the first in the world to do this will remain in the history of world sports forever", the vice-president of the football club Mark Ginzburg said.

Moonwalk and Binance NFT will be the exclusive providers of NFT tickets. Dynamo fans will be able to purchase NFT tickets only on the Binance NFT marketplace. By the start of the season, exclusive gaming-related NFTs will be released on the leading NFT platform Binance NFT.

After purchase, fans will be able to get not only a match ticket, but also exclusive prizes and bonuses. Dynamo, with the support of Moonwalk, will create a digital economy that includes a large-scale ecosystem of tokens. The project is under development.

Over time, the club plans to sell over 25% of its total home game tickets in the form of NFTs. During the shortened 2019/20 season, the club sold over 400,000 tickets for Dynamo home matches at NSC Olimpiyskiy.

Moonwalk is a digital economy platform that allows integrating NFT and tokens in different areas: tickets to real and virtual events, e-commerce, game skins, customer rewards and payment systems. In January 2021, Moonwalk announced its intention to create a digital economy for Dynamo that will include a comprehensive ecosystem of tokens. The project is currently under development.
