A European drone manufacturer is to open a factory in Ukraine. The company’s CEO, Ivan Tolchynskyi, said this in an interview with ArmyInform.
There is no exact timing for the launch of the factory yet since there are difficulties with importing components and finding premises for production.
"We did have a conversation with journalists and told them that the launch of our factory in Ukraine has been somewhat delayed… Because we still don’t know how we will import components, and we need to get the situation with taxes and the manufacturing premises right…" says Tolchynskyi.
He noted that every market has its peculiar features, which is why setting up a business in a new country is operationally quite a protracted process.
Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainian defenders have used ATLAS drones on the battlefield.
