As of October 17, 2022, in the last 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine killed 320 invaders and destroyed 8 tanks, 12 APVs, 1 MLRS, and 17 UAVs of the enemy. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy suffered the heaviest losses in the Avdiivka and Bakhmut directions.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24 to October 17 approximately amounted to:
- personnel — about 65,320 (+320),
- tanks — 2,537 (+8),
- APV — 5,205 (+12),
- artillery systems — 1,599 (+10),
- MLRS — 366 (+1),
- air defense systems — 187 (+1),
- aircraft — 268,
- helicopters — 242,
- UAV operational-tactical level — 1,241 (+17),
- cruise missiles — 316,
- warships/boats — 16,
- vehicles and fuel tanks — 3,969 (+10);
- special equipment — 144 (+1).
