Burger King, one of the world's largest fast food chains, plans to enter the Ukrainian market in 2021.
This was announced by Ihor Mariash, General Manager at Bimbo QSR Ukraine, during a roundtable discussion where the law on investnannies was discussed, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"This year, we hope that a chain such as Burger King will enter Ukraine that was not present in the country before. But this year they finally decided to enter the market," said Mariash.
According to him, the chain has found a partner in Ukraine. However, he did not give the name of the company.
Burger King was founded in 1954 in the USA. It is one of the largest fast food chains—it unites 17,000 restaurants around the world.
Bimbo QSR Ukraine is a part of the international bakery holding company Grupo Bimbo. In October 2017, the company bought the East Bolt Ukraine bakery in Dnipro that produced sandwich buns for the international fast food chain McDonald’s.
