Ukraine has groundwork of cooperation with the American company Boeing in the localization of the company's aircraft at the state-owned enterprise Antonov.
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for Strategic Industries Oleg Uruskyy in an interview on the Army FM radio.
He did not rule out that during his visit to the United States, Ukraine will turn to Boeing with this offer, adding that due to the coronavirus crisis, the company has significantly reduced the number of orders.
"Now everyone is looking for new markets and opportunities. We set ambitious goals in order to develop our military aviation. I hope that cooperation with Boeing will be useful for us in this very direction."
