A Ukrainian drone attacked an oil depot in St. Petersburg, said Kamyshin

Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, confirmed that a Ukrainian drone was used to attack an oil depot in St. Petersburg, Russia. He also said that Ukraine is able to produce drones worth $350, as well as long-range unmanned aerial vehicles.

The news was reported by the We Are Ukraine TV channel.

Quote"We can make everything from small FPV drones worth $350 to the one that flew into St. Petersburg tonight. This thing flew 1,250 km tonight and hit the target," the minister said.

It was reported that, on the morning of January 18, Russian air defense "intercepted" one drone over the territory of the Leningrad region and shot another one over the Moscow region. According to Telegram channels, the drone fell on the territory of the St. Petersburg oil terminal and exploded there.

Earlier, we reported that at a press conference, Kamyshin claimed that Ukrainian defense companies had ramped up production three times in 2023 and were set to produce six times more in 2024.
