On Wednesday, June 16, the Russian army launched an airstrike against the city of Lysychansk, Luhansk Oblast. The invaders hit a civilian facility where people were hiding.
According to preliminary information from Serhiy Haidai, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, at least three people were killed as a result of the attack, and seven more were injured. The debris is currently being removed.
Context. In general, according to official data, at least 11,300 houses were destroyed or damaged over the hostilities in Luhansk Oblast, including almost 3,200 high-rise buildings.
