The Russian occupation forces ramp up their psychological operations, the Strategic Communications Directorate at the Armed Forces of Ukraine warns.
Russian telegram channels and social media accounts are planning to flood the Internet with fake coverage of the operations of Ukraine’s army as well as their own forces.
"To undermine the morals of Ukrainians and delude the community (including their own population), Russian propagandists will share false information about the counteroffensive, its directions, and the losses of the Ukrainian army. Even if there’s no counteroffensive. To that end, they’ve prepared old videos and photographs showing damaged equipment, killed people, and prisoners of war, as well as other fake materials," the post says.
The Strategic Communications Directorate stressed that only operational summaries of the General Staff, strategic communications agencies, and designated official spokespersons of the Defense Forces and Armed Forces of Ukraine are reliable information sources.
