A repair hub for Leopard battle tanks has started operating in Gliwice, Poland. The first tanks have already arrived from Ukraine at the Bumar-Łąbędy plant.
Polish defense minister Mariusz Błaszczak announced this on social media.
"The repair hub in Gliwice has started operating! The first two Leopards have already arrived from Ukraine to the Bumar plant," he tweeted.
This April, during a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, the Polish defense minister made an agreement with his German colleague on the establishment of a service center for the whole family of Leopard 2 battle tanks at Bumar-Łabędy.
