ATB chain announces new openings and developing logistics infrastructure

ATB Corporation reports that "it is rapidly resuming its activities in the territories liberated from the invaders and continues its development in the peaceful regions of the country."

To date:

  • the work of about 100 stores in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions has resumed. In total, about 1,000 stores of the company operate throughout Ukraine;
  • the company opened two new sites that provide warehouse and transport logistics for the western, northern, and central regions of the country. To date, the warehouse and logistics needs of the company throughout Ukraine are provided by eight distribution centers;
  • two new stores were opened in the Lviv region in the cities of Busk and Zolochiv;
  • about 1,000 new jobs were created and about 4,000 more were resumed. Today, 60,000 Ukrainians work at the enterprises of the corporation.

Short-term plans for the company involve:

  • resuming work of at least 50 stores in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, and the city of Kyiv;
  • launching a new distribution center in the Kyiv region with a total area of 14,000 square meters;
  • opening seven new retail facilities in the western region of the country, primarily in Lviv and Uzhhorod.

Not so long ago, it was also reported that ATB had begun its own direct import deliveries of food and essential goods to stores. The company's own imports are not related to the humanitarian supplies of the relevant organizations and volunteer movements.

Direct import deliveries to ATB stores in Kyiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv regions are carried out from Poland, the Baltic countries, and Turkey.

Reference. Before the war, there were about 1,240 stores in the ATB chain in 322 settlements in 24 regions of Ukraine. The staff of the corporation was 70,000 people.
