The Cabinet plans to appoint the recently dismissed former Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kriklii as the new Chairman of Ukrzaliznytsia.

A source in the Office of the President told this to The Page.

Now this issue is being considered in the Cabinet. Moreover, the appointment actually took place and in the coming weeks Kriklii will be appointed Head of Ukrzaliznytsia.

In addition, in the near future it is planned to allocate additional funding for the reconstruction of the Ukrzaliznytsia infrastructure.

"Therefore, Kriklii does not lose much, becoming the head of the company. There will be a lot of money there now," a source in the Office of the President told The Page.

Context. In March 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers prematurely terminated the powers of the Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia, Volodymyr Zhmak, and entrusted the performance of duties to Ivan Yuryk.
