Author

In November 2019, the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will more than double the number of routes and flights from Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa and Kharkiv — to up 40 locations. In November 2018, the low-cost carrier flew to 17 locations, avianews has said.

The number of flights from Ukraine will increase from 52 to 113 per week. This includes two routes from Ryanair's subsidiary Laudamotion.

Most of all new flights and destinations will be from at Boryspil Airport. In November 2018, the route network from the Ukrainian capital totaled 12 destinations with 38 flights per week, and in November 2019, 80 flights per week to 26 destinations.

The number of flights from the regions will also increase. Flights from Odesa and Kharkiv will fly to new destinations. From Odesa in November 2019, the low-cost airline will make 13 flights a week to six destinations, from Kharkov, six flights a week to three destinations.

In Lviv, the number of flights and routes will remain the same. The low-cost airline will make 14 flights a week to five destinations as it did last years.

Ryanair began flying to Kyiv's Boryspil International Airport on September 3, 2018, to Lviv on October 30, 2018, to Kharkiv on June 17, 2019 and to Odesa on June 19, 2019.
