The National Bank returned the requirement for citizens to provide supporting documents when moving currency values outside Ukraine in an amount that exceeds 10,000 euros in equivalent. Such documents may confirm the cash withdrawal from personal accounts or the purchase of banking metals.
Recall that the NBU canceled this requirement on March 4 this year.
It returned it on March 13 "in order to prevent the withdrawal of capital abroad, as well as taking into account communication with the relevant state authorities."
Please note that Ukrainians still have to declare currency values, the value of which exceeds 10,000 euros, when they move abroad. This requirement has not been canceled.
