The Government Office for the Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration has got a Director-General. Natalia Forsiuk was appointed its Head, according to the European Integration portal. The Office has been working without a manager since 2019.
Bumper harvests. Ukraine has broken all-time highs for wheat and barley
As of mid-September, Ukrainian agrarians harvested a bumper grain crop. They have already gathered an all-time high of wheat—33 million tons and of barley—10.2 million tons. Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the harvesting of crops continues.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will take part in the opening of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly on September 21-22 in New York, USA. There, the Head of State will deliver a speech, hold a number of bilateral meetings with presidents of other states, representatives of international organizations, investors, and businessmen.
Elections at various levels have started in Russia today. In a three-day period—from 17 to 19 September, the population will elect the State Duma deputies, heads of 12 constituent entities of the country, as well as deputies of the state power legislative bodies in 39 Russian regions, Interfax reports. This year, residents of the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions take part in the elections as well.
One more name has been added to the list of resigned heads of the National Bank key departments. On September 16, Vitalii Vavryshchuk who worked there as Director of the Financial Stability Department left the NBU.
