New aid, conflict with Budapest and the default in Russia: Highlights on war in Ukraine on April 6
The 42nd day of the war against the Russian occupiers continues in Ukraine.
Talks were held in Moscow between President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Maurer and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. As a result, the head of the ICRC announced a request to open an office in Rostov-on-Don "to improve the work of the organization in eastern Ukraine." This is reported by the Russian media.
Bonds bring another 6 billion UAH to budget
From the fourth auction of military bonds, the government has raised 4.8 billion UAH for the army. In total, the Ministry of Finance raised 6 billion UAH for the budget at the auction on Tuesday. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
