The Brovary tragedy: the world extends condolences
On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in the city of Brovary, Kyiv region, a terrible tragedy happened—a helicopter carrying the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs crashed. Denys Monastyrskyi, the minister of internal affairs, his first deputy, and the ministry's state secretary, died. The European Commission extended its deepest condolences in a message posted by its press service.
On the morning of January 18, a helicopter crashed in Brovary, Kyiv region. As a result of the disaster, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs died, and a fire broke out in a kindergarten, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko and Head of the National Police Ihor Klymenko reported.
