Acting Chairperson of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Olha Batova resigned voluntarily from her position as First Deputy Chairperson of the SPF.
Batova wrote this on her Facebook, where she posted her scanned resignation letter.
"Please dismiss me from my position at my own request on August 10, 2022," the letter says.
Earlier, it was supposed that her appointment could be submitted for approval by the Verkhovna Rada.
Olha Batova became Acting Chairperson of the SPF in February 2022, after Dmytro Sennychenko was dismissed. Since December 2021, she has worked as First Deputy Chairperson of the Fund, and before that, she was adviser to ex-Chairperson Sennychenko.
As reported earlier, on February 17, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed the Chairperson of the State Property Fund, Dmytro Sennychenko, at the second attempt. On January 27, a technical failure prevented the parliament from doing this. The decision was supported by 318 MPs.
Sennychenko wasn’t in attendance at the meeting of the parliament and, therefore, didn’t present a report. He voluntarily resigned back in November 2021. Sennychenko served as the Fund's Chairperson since November 2019.
