The Kyiv International Institute of Sociology conducted a survey of the presidential rating and trust in the country's politicians. The current Head of State, Volodymyr Zelensky, is leading in the rating.
According to the poll, if the presidential elections in Ukraine were held on the following Sunday, 53.3% would take part in them, almost 20% are not sure, but most likely they would vote in the elections.
Presidential rating
According to the first list, among the Ukrainians who made their choice, the most support would receive:
- Volodymyr Zelensky (27%);
- Yurii Boyko (14.7%);
- Petro Poroshenko (13.7%);
- Viktor Medvedchuk (8.7%);
- Yulia Tymoshenko (7.5%). The rest have less than 7% of the vote.
According to the second list that did not include Medvedchuk, Dmytro Razumkov to the candidates, but includes Ihor Smeshko, the approval rating looks like this:
- Zelensky (27.7%);
- Boyko (20.8%);
- Poroshenko (14.2%);
- Tymoshenko (7.3%);
- Ihor Smeshko (6.5%);
- Oleh Lyashko (6.2%),
- Volodymyr Groysman (6%). The rest have less than 6% of the vote.
Politicians’ approval rating:
- most of all Ukrainians, according to the poll, trust Volodymyr Zelensky, namely 32.8%. At the same time, almost 69% do not trust him, the balance of trust-distrust is 26.8%;
- Vitali Klitschko is in second place who is trusted by 31.8%, not trusted—by 54.3% (balance—22.5%);
- next is Dmytro Razumkov who is trusted by 29.2%, and not trusted by 36.5% (balance—7.3%);
- Yurii Boyko is in fourth place, he is trusted by 25.8% against 50.9% (balance—25%);
- Volodymyr Groysman is in fifth place, he is trusted by 25.4% against 62.2% (balance—36.8%).
The Kyiv International Institute of Sociology conducted a survey on December 17-23 using a personal interview method involving tablets. It interviewed 1.2 thousand Ukrainians over 18 years old in all settlements of Ukraine, except for the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Context. Earlier, the sociological group Rating conducted a survey of Ukrainians about trust in politicians and parties. The rating was headed by Zelensky who was then trusted by 41% and not trusted by 56% of respondents.
