Heavy shelling of Mykolaiv: residential buildings were damaged, and people were killed and injured

The Russian invaders continue to shell Mykolaiv daily. On Wednesday night, September 14, the city was shelled, resulting in two people killed and large-scale destruction of buildings.

Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim said during the telethon that seven strikes were reported in different districts of the city. High-rise apartment buildings, a school, and an enterprise were targeted. At the latter site, a fire broke out.

Quote"At approximately 01:10 AM, September 14, Mykolaiv was shelled. According to preliminary data, these were S-300-type missiles. A school, infrastructure facilities, and apartment buildings were damaged, in particular, a missile landed near a nine-story and a five-story building," he said.

It is by far known that two people were killed and another three were injured.

He added that emergency services evacuated the endangered local residents and contained the fire that broke out because of the shelling. Utility and rescue services are working at the site, and search operations are ongoing.

Villages in the Bereznehuvate and Shyroke municipalities are still suffering from continuous enemy fire.

Context. In the last 24 hours, the invaders lost approximately 350 servicemen, 5 tanks, 2 warplanes, and 2 helicopters.
