The Russians shelled the Kherson region on May 3, killing 23 people. Another 46 people were injured, including two children.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this on Telegram.

According to him, on Wednesday, May 3, the enemy shelled the region 98 times, firing 539 rounds from heavy artillery, Grad rocket systems, tanks, drones, and aircraft.

The city of Kherson suffered 16 barrages of extremely severe shelling, Prokudin emphasized.

82 shells hit the territory and buildings of the railway station and the nearby square, a gas station, two stores, a factory, a car depot, and a railroad crossing.

The enemy presence builds up in the south

Meanwhile, the enemy naval force in the Black Sea increased to 11 ships. These include four surface missile launch platforms, according to Serhii Bratchuk, Head of the Public Council under the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

They can launch up to 32 Kalibr missiles.
