The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) sent an official request to Interpol. SAPO requested the international structure to help Ukraine in catching the former Head of the board of Privatbank Oleksandr Dubilet. Head of the Prosecutor's Office Maksym Hryschuk told this in an interview with NV.

He said that SAPO had requested Interpol to put Dubilet Sr. on the international wanted list. However, Hryschuk did not voiced the date of the appeal, referring to the secrecy of the investigation.

Context. A request to put Oleksandr Dubilet on the international wanted list was made in the framework of the case opened in February 2021 on the embezzlement of 136 million UAH by Privatbank officials. Together with him, two more people appear in this case—the former First Deputy Head of the Privatbank Executive Board Volodymyr Yatsenko and the First Deputy Head of the Ingosstrakh Olena Bychykhina.

At the end of February, Yatsenko tried to escape from Ukraine, but this attempt was stopped by NABU.
